Description
Gas stations were the lifeblood of the cruising era, literally fueling the culture that defined 1970s Van Nuys Boulevard.
This limited-edition collection of six (6) black-and-white photographs captures these iconic roadside stops, including a glimpse of the days when gas was just 32.9¢ a gallon. Each 5″x7″ giclée print is reproduced on 8″x8″ archival paper for lasting quality. Signed and numbered, these collector-grade prints are available only as a complete set, with just six (6) sets produced.
Five of theses six prints are from my coffee table book, VAN NUYS BLVD 1972: ‘‘Spaceport’‘, ‘Winkin II’, ‘Mobile Gasoline’, ‘No Smoking’, and ‘Beauty and the Bug’.
Relive the spirit of gasoline-fueled cruising through this nostalgic series.
