‘Atmosphere’

Description

By utilizing a wide-angle lens for so many of my images, the various panoramas give the visual appearance of a considerably larger space, a larger ‘stage’ for the cruising performance. The strip mall and parking lot with June Ellen’s anchoring the corner, was a good deal smaller and more compact than the scene appears to be in my images. This ‘atmospheric’image delivers a somewhat misty view of the cars and the people silhouetted by the glare of all the bright fluorescent lighting from the store fronts and signs. I especially found the guy wearing the overalls to be a visual anchor for this image.
